THe old cow shed wedding venue | Eli & Steph’s soulful photos

LET US TELL YOU; WE ARE ABSOLUTELY HAPPY DANCING ABOUT THIS VENUE!

As soon as we caught a glimpse of The Old Cow Shed's website, we knew we had to experience it firsthand. And let us tell you; we were EVEN MORE awe-inspired when we visited in person!

INTRODUCING STEPH & ELI’S SOULFUL AND VIBRANT WEDDING DAY

Steph and Eli tied the knot in a beautiful and soulful autumn wedding at the Old Cow Shed near Melton Mowbray, and we had the pleasure of documenting their special day.

We loved seeing the happy couple get ready together, with Eli patiently waiting under the "Holy Cow" neon sign while Steph walked down the aisle in her stunning SML London dress.

The entire wedding vibe was perfect, thanks to Rebecca at R&R Weddings, and the gorgeous flowers by Grace Florals were truly inspiring. It was wonderful to see Steph and Eli opt for non-traditional wedding flowers, adding a unique touch to their celebration.

When it came to food, Thomas The Caterer and Warwick Street Kitchen did not disappoint. The wedding cake from Warwick Street Kitchen was not only a sight to behold, but also tasted amazing. And the evening snack from Jabberwocky of Leamington Spa was insanely tasty.

As if that wasn't enough, Steph and Eli even had a bouncy castle from Bouncy Kings that had guests giggling all day long. The good vibes continued well into the night, thanks to Highway 21, who kept everyone dancing.

Steph and Eli met many years ago in a nightclub called Smack, introduced by a mutual friend. Their intended wedding vibe was relaxed and funky, and they nailed it! To top it all off, they even had an epic game of ping pong.

We want to send a huge congratulations to Steph and Eli and wish them nothing but the best. You two rock! Oi there, lovebirds!

Are you lot searching for the ultimate wedding venue? Well, we've got some good news for ya! The Old Cow Shed is just a quick jaunt outside of Melton Mowbray and is the epitome of rustic charm and modern elegance.

Let us tell you, we are absolutely buzzing about this venue! As soon as we caught a glimpse of The Old Cow Shed's website, we knew we had to experience it firsthand. And let us tell you, we were gobsmacked!

From the moment we set foot on the property, we knew we'd found something special. The venue has undergone extensive renovations and was purposefully designed for weddings - it's a photographer's dream!

The Old Cow Shed is a part of Poplars Farm, which has been in Helen's family since the 1960s. A few years ago, Helen and her partner Simon brought their family back to Leicestershire from London and set about creating something truly exceptional.

The Old Cow Shed is divided into four key areas: The Shed, The Courtyard, The Paddock, and The Big Barn. The Shed is a stunning space that can seat up to 60 guests for a wedding breakfast and up to 100 for the evening reception. They provide tables, chairs, and lighting and are wonderfully child-friendly, pet-friendly, and just plain friendly legends!

After the ceremony, guests can enjoy welcome drinks and canapés in the courtyard, which is conveniently located between the shed and the big barn. And if you're feeling adventurous, you can even have your ceremony or wedding breakfast in the courtyard! Plus, there's a covered space at the end of the courtyard that houses the bar and is perfect for a live band or DJ to set up.

We're firm believers that your wedding should be all about you. That's why we love The Old Cow Shed so much - it's the perfect canvas for your one-of-a-kind vision. And the possibilities are endless! Want to have your first dance outdoors? Go for it! How about speeches under the open sky? Absolutely! We're all about capturing those extraordinary moments as they unfold and letting you bask in the day's full glory.

But hold on, there's more! The Paddock is a vast, open field next to The Old Cow Shed that's perfect for setting up games and activities. It's also a great spot for accommodation - they currently have some tipis available for overnight stays, and some gorgeous shepherd's huts too!

And if you're in need of even more space, the Big Barn is where it's at. Downstairs, you'll find a dining/snug room, a kitchen, a lounge/playroom, and a double bedroom. And upstairs, there are three more double bedrooms - all beautifully decorated and styled. Did we mention the baths? You have to see them to believe them!

Now, we can already sense what you might be thinking - what about photography? Documentary Wedding Photography? Well, don't you worry! We're here to capture all the magic of your big day. We're not into setting things up or manufacturing contrived situations. Rather, we prefer to be guests at your wedding and document the moments as they unfold. Of course, if you need a little guidance, we're more than happy to lend a hand. And let's not forget - the venue itself is utterly stunning, so your photos are guaranteed to be top-notch!

So, what are we waiting for? If you're after a documentary wedding photographer or alternative wedding photographer for your wedding at The Old Cow Shed, then we'd love to have a chinwag with you about your special day.
