Foxtail Barn Wedding

An April Wedding at Foxtail Barns | Sioned & Conor

Sioned and Conor wanted a wedding full of the people they love, with their son Archie right at the heart of it. A traditional ceremony, time together and a big dancing party. Their words summed it up best: “Just lots of fun. Something to remember forever.”

Having first met while working together at a hospital, their story brought them to Foxtail Barns in Consall for an April wedding.

Getting married at Foxtail Barns

The Orangery is a lovely part of what makes Foxtail Barns special. Red brick, oak beams, greenery and a glass roof that brings natural light into the ceremony space. It has plenty of character before you add a single flower.

For Sioned and Conor, the personal touches came from their people. Their ceremony included readings from Sioned’s brother Richard and Conor’s best friend Tom. Familiar voices alongside them as they got married.

With the ceremony and reception at the same venue, there’s room to settle in and enjoy being together. From the Orangery to drinks and then the Party Barn, Foxtail Barns gives the different parts of a wedding their own space.

The two of them. The three of them. Everyone they love.

When we talked about photographs, Sioned and Conor were clear about what mattered. Photographs together as a couple, photographs with Archie, and moments of connection throughout the day.

I love that those family photographs were such an important part of it. There’s the story of getting married, and there’s the life you’re already building together. Both deserve a place in the photographs.

They wanted the family groups too, alongside all the fun and party photographs. Pictures with the people who matter, and pictures that remind you what being with them felt like.

Their evening brought together a DJ and saxophone, a first dance and plenty of room for the big party they’d pictured.

Your Foxtail Barns wedding, through my eyes

The venue gives you the setting. You and your people give the photographs their meaning.

If you’re planning a wedding at Foxtail Barns, I’d love to photograph what happens: the connection, the love, the funny bits and the moments you’ll want to come back to.
