Tutbury Castle a striking and historic venue perfect for Sharon and Neil to say ‘I do’

The absolutely lovely Sharon and Neil celebrated their union with a glorious wedding, starting the commemorations with a heart-warming and picturesque ceremony at the awe-inspiring Tutbury Castle situated in Burton-Upon-Trent, Staffordshire

HEY YOU LEGENDS

Let’s arrange a Zoom call, we would LOVE to hear all you amazing ideas

A joyful and touching Medieval Castle celebration adorned with lanterns, it was an honour to document!

The atmospheric ruins of the phenomenal Medieval Castle were the perfect backdrop for this high-spirited and incredibly warm couple. The ceremony was truly beautiful, adorned with Lanterns as a remembrance to family members, with many touching details like this filling the day abundantly, even down to the wedding transport which was the bride’s own car, that Sharon and her father bought together.

A Personalised Wedding with Japanese touches and Scottish heritage shown throughout the wonderful occasion

Sharon and Neil live in Japan for most of their time, so hints of Japanese touches were frequently seen, such as the bride’s kimono during the morning shots. To add to this cultural and personalized wedding, the groom’s Scottish heritage was themed throughout this wonderful day, such as the men’s attire and the arranged pipers. The couple also organized a tour guide for guests at the scheduled ancient monument, adding to the uniqueness and cultural, historical aspects that accompanied this very special occasion.

Alrewas Hayes a superb magical reception venue for this vibrant couple to continue their festivities

The magnificent and dramatic backdrop of the castle ruins made for some captivating images, encapsulating an essence of the day. The festivities continued with a short journey to the stunning reception at the stunning Alrewas Hayes. Concealed in the heart of central England, peacefully lies Alrewas Hayes, a historic country estate. The Grade II listed Queen Anne residence holds 100 acres of beauty, and was a tranquil and scenic location to carry on such magical celebrations. Beaming smiles, contagious laughter and emotional moments gushed throughout this wedding, it was a pleasure to be able to capture those instances, especially for such a lovely pair. A day filled with heritage, soul-stirring touches and forever love.

We wish them a lifetime of other-worldly happiness :)

Tutbury Castle: Where Fairytales Begin 🏰

Oh, where do I even start? This place is straight-up magical! Imagine saying your "I do's" amidst the ruins of an 11th-century castle overlooking the River Dove. Talk about historic feels! Tutbury Castle offers various options like marquee weddings, midnight weddings, civil ceremonies, partnerships, and handfasting ceremonies. There’s something for every couple looking to paint their day in their own unique colours. 🌈

What makes this castle extra special for documentary-style wedding photography? The emotive backdrops, my friends! The ancient stonework and lush gardens give a texture that’s both dreamy and real. Every nook and cranny tells a story, making it a dream playground for unposed, authentic moments. 📸

Alrewas Hayes: Party in Elegance 🥳

Once the vows are exchanged and the castle's bells have tolled, it's time to shift the celebration to Alrewas Hayes for an unforgettable reception! This Grade II listed Queen Anne residence set in rural Staffordshire offers tailor-made experiences. Whether you’re envisioning a lavish party or an intimate gathering, they’ve got you covered. ⚡️

But why is it a go-to for documentary-style wedding photography, you ask? The venue is a perfect blend of the contemporary and the classic. Your photos will capture the laughter, the tears, and the crazy dance moves, all set against a backdrop of elegant architecture and scenic beauty. The grand ballroom and lakeside views? Simply jaw-dropping! 🤩
