Pythouse Kitchen Garden Wedding in Wiltshire | Natural Relaxed Photography

An Intimate Ceremony Conducted by izzy’s Sister Lucie

Nestled in the charming countryside of Wiltshire, Pythouse Kitchen Garden was the ideal venue for Izzy and Jamie’s summer wedding. With a policy of hosting just eight weddings a year, Pythouse Kitchen Garden prides itself on providing a unique and intimate experience. For Izzy and Jamie, it was nothing short of magical.

Izzy began her day in the comforting familiarity of her parents’ home, surrounded by walls adorned with family photos and cheerful artwork. This setting gave Ed an insight into the cherished memories shared within this close-knit family.

A Family-Centered Affair

Adding to the day’s intimacy, Izzy's sister Lucie took on the role of celebrant, guiding the ceremony with grace. As Emmy Lou by First Aid Kit — the couple’s favorite band — played softly, Izzy, accompanied by her father, walked down the aisle, following her five bridesmaids, a flower girl, and a page boy.

Jamie was supported by his best woman, Jenny, who was tasked with safeguarding the rings and maintaining the groom’s calm demeanor. Their non-traditional vows and Lucie's heartfelt address set the tone for a ceremony that was uniquely theirs.

Natural Splendor Meets Musical Bliss

After exchanging vows to the tune of ‘Here Comes The Sun’ by The Beatles, the newlyweds led guests on a picturesque loop of Pythouse’s enchanting garden for photos. The route, dependent on weather, was designed to culminate in a vibrant confetti throw, signifying the start of the next chapter in Izzy and Jamie’s journey.

Dining, Toasting, and Dancing

The reception featured live music from a brass band, cocktails (likely margaritas), champagne, and a sumptuous selection of canapés. Izzy and Jamie, passionate about food, chose large sharing platters of delicious, fire-cooked meals, emphasizing the communal atmosphere of their celebration.

Their friend Tash, the appointed Mistress of Ceremonies, orchestrated the event, making sure everything ran smoothly, and the speeches, sprinkled throughout the dinner, were heartfelt and memorable.

As golden hour approached, Izzy and Jamie planned to sneak away for some intimate photos, capturing their love against the backdrop of Wiltshire's breathtaking scenery.

A Night to Remember

The evening’s festivities were marked by an epic first dance, complete with choreographed moves and confetti canons — a spectacle that captured the vibrant energy of the couple and their love for one another. A karaoke performance, featuring ‘Shallow’ from A Star is Born, by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, had everyone singing along, encapsulating the party atmosphere that Izzy and Jamie aimed for.
